Rock'n'Roll
The « French » Rock’n ‘roll is a French
evolution of the Swing dances from 50s.
The name of “Rock’n ‘Roll” became famous
with “Rock around the clock” from Bill Halley in May 1955. Young are “Rockabilly”,
parties, restaurant decoration, clothes, Fats Domino and Pat Boone’s
Blues, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry’s Rhythm and Blues, everything is
Rock’n ‘Roll.
This French Dance on 6 bit corresponding
to 8 steps is one of the favourite French people dance and just cannot
be out of date.
Very easy and funny dance to learn which
allows everyone to enjoy dancing very fast even those not sure about
their dancing skills…

This is an old performance but very important for us.
In only
twelve hours these dancers (with one or two years of experience)
succeeded to produce a great number.
Since this
time we are still friends and some are still taking Swing classes with
us and I would like to thanks them for these moments they offered us :
Denis,
Khédi, Philippe, Josette, Antoine, Isabelle, Jérôme, Myriam, Jean,
Christine, Camille, Clarisse, Doudou, Lise, Bruno, Valérie, Pascale,
Thierry, Nathalie, Sonia....
