We will ensure that the groups are balanced, so people registering with a partner will be given
priority.For solo followers, registrations will be confirmed if solo leaders register.
Fancy Dougherty
Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Fancy (a birth name) fell in love with Lindy and Shag in 2008, with Balboa
trailing not far behind. She’s been hooked ever since, constantly endeavoring to improve her technique on a
never-ending quest for connection, improvisational freedom in social dancing and the true jitterbug spirit.
She has performed, competed in and taught Lindy, Balboa and Shag all over the world, was inducted into the
California Swing Dance Hall of Fame in 2014 and is a five-time winner of the National Jitterbug Championships
in the shag division. She loves to dance with new people and beginners, so be sure to ask her to dance!
Natasha & Olivier
are successful instructors, competitors and performers. Their creativity and musical synergies are matched and
their professionalism, kindness and humour take them to teach in some of the biggest camps in the world of Swing.
They were the first European couple to win the title of Champion IBC in the famous Balboa Pavilion in Newport
Beach (USA)! More than competing they enjoy social dancing and sharing their passion with others.

Albert Ferran Toll
Albert has loved to dance since he was a child, and in 1996 finally discovered folk dancing. Then one magical
evening in 2000, between waltzes at Plaça del Rei in Barcelona, he was invited to a swing dance. That’s when
he started dancing lindy. Enthralled with social dancing, he discovered balboa in 2005, and towards the end
of 2006, he and Gloria and began teaching this amazing dance locally and growing the scene in Barcelona. In 2011,
they started teaching international workshops, and in June 2014 during a competition in the US, Albert had a
personal crisis that made him question whether the way he danced was consistent with who he was and how he felt
about partner dancing. That’s when he decided to embark on a different path.

Intermediate :
You know the fundamentals
of Balboa (Swivels, Lollies, Throw out, Cross-over, Pop turn, Out and in), some
step variations, as well as several variations of figures. You are comfortable
dancing in social with any partner. However, you are still hesitant to dance in
fast tempos, and sometimes have connection problems. You want to improve your style.
Advanced :
Fast tempos no longer scare
you. You can dance socially with partners of different levels (beginner to
advanced) without any problem. You are looking for your own style, as well as
discovering musicality, dancing not only to the rhythm of the music, but to all
its accents. You want to learn new variations, as well as new techniques.
Flashy Footworks :
A specific class about Balboa flashy footworks.
In the registration form you can
indicate the type of accommodation you would like and the person(s) you will be
staying with.

If you are alone, we will inform you before the event with who you will share your room.
The price includes:

the confirmation email the list of cancellation clauses and the payment of the
course participation.
